Iron and Wine

I love finding new music! Don't you just hate it when you pick up you iPod scroll through all your music and just don't want to listen to any of it. It's crazy you have thousands of songs and they just don't fit your criteria! Well ... I watched the film 'Timer' last night and it has a fantastic soundtrack.

The film itself has a unique stroyline where Oona (Emma Caulfield) desperate to find 'the one' resorts to the modern technology of a 'timer'. A 'timer' will count down the days till you meet your love, at which it will beep simultaneously with your soul mates. The narrative follows Oona as she tries to find her soul mate. It is a great modern take on love and the difficulties which encompass it, even with the invention of a 'timer'.

I have to say I love Emma Caulfield, her days as Anya in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' will remain with me forever and she seemed perfect for the part of Oona in 'Timer'.

In the last scene of the film the song 'The Trapeze Swinger' by Iron and Wine was used. I think it is worth a listen, it is a beautifully written song - the band are worth a look too!

A new blog ... A new beginning.

Hello There!

Welcome to my photography blog, here you will find post of my images, projects that I am working on, films and if you are lucky even music that I think is worth a mention. I know its all terribly exciting!!

I haven't done my photography properly in almost a year, so it is about time I start planning projects and I mean actually planning, organizing and booking shoots. None of this yeah I'll do it later, I don't know, I'm not sure. Just shoots. Yes I will do it, how about next week, yes I can fit you in.

Haha 'yes I can fit you in' like I have a busy life! I don't - but within the next couple of months my life probably will become very hectic so I am hoping that this blog will keep me on course with my photography and that I will actually create some good shots.

Though I'm not sure they work like that. I'm hoping I will be able to get back into the studio soon. I haven't done it in ages! I probably will need to relearn everything which is going to take ages and I want to expand upon studio stuff that I have done before, but nonetheless I will endeavor to do it and the result will be some beautiful images for you - well that's the dream anyway!

 okay I think this will be sufficient first post.
